And here stands the youngest of clan Ívarr-Redhawke, the most mischievous of the last few. Though magic does not flow through that of his six other siblings, it sprouted in him while young. Abilities came in little spurts of sparkles from the tips of his fingers to a sneeze that teleported him through a wall. However, like any child, a little temper tantrum did nothing more than set curtains ablaze with a stomp and a huff. Nevertheless, the life within the Ívarr-Redhawke homestead was never less than interesting for it was a home filled with rebuilding, turmoil, and tragedy, but ultimately pulled a family closer together.

After the disappearance of Mohan’s third eldest, Simdur, Arch-Champion Ayasha Redhawke grew hyper aware of her children. Even with allowing her eldest to slip from her sight in chase of education outside of their homeland, she was worried that with their namesakes, they would only return to her in caskets. Unfortunately, even with her eldest gone, her worries came to fruition at the death of her youngest.

There are rumors, of course, that circulate around that of the death of the young Oracle, however, the truth came from a fight among children, one filled with frustration and loathing amongst that of outsiders welcomed into their traditional homes made to unravel the centuries of old-world faiths and ancestral habits that left spite and anger within the calm and usually collected priest.

As time went on, there’s a feeling of needing to be perfect after growing up in a household filled with names and titles. Knowing that his two eldest are the claimed twins of the Domrien king, his father the former, and now retired First-Lieutenant of the Imperial forces, and both his mother and god-mother holding clan titles as well as champion titles, Mohan felt less than nothing in the shadow of his others. Though nothing wrong with being a priest of his faith, the looming feeling still sat like a rock in the pit of his gut.

Mohan wishes to be as good as those of his family. He wishes to prove that he, too, can hold his namesake and bloodline with high pride without coming across as a pacifist in the middle of a war where hands and skill were needed.

Part two.

The Thing about Mohan’s Eyes. The sight of every Oracle is different, be it the placement of exposed veins, the de’cra (places of necromantic decay (ie: mohan’s blackened hands). to add, his hands, arms, flesh, and skin is perfectly healthy.), or, in this case, their eyes. Every Oracle returned to the world is given what is seen as “The Gaze of the Black Star” or “The Eyes of the Mother.” In the public view, though sclera blackened, most say they see almost a misty cosmic sight in some Oracles, but usually nothing in the eyes of most.

That being said, the story goes that the one most infatuated with that of the Mother, though blessed by that of Axim’s primordial magic, was still able to see all of her. With their magics bonded and their love, even so, the eyes of the creator was still seen perfectly by the gaze of her beloved. The downside to this was death of the bonded for this to happen– no matter which side it happened on. For Mohan and Damien, the death and resurrections of Paladin Aslan was the option given. Though not bonded through marriage as most of their faith, they were bonded by the magic of a budding, powerful necromancer. As the Mother and Creator were.
